This easy vegetable dish is a great way to incorporate easy veggies into a meal. Sauteed garlic, cherry tomatoes, and asparagus are a great addition to a bowl of rice and veggies or would make a great accompaniment to proteins.

1tbspminced garlic
¼tspdried basil
salt to taste
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a pan and add garlic. Allow it to sizzle before adding the halved tomatoes.
Saute the tomatoes until they start to break down (about 5 minutes).
Stir in the basil and salt. Then add the chopped asparagus.
Cover with lid and cook for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Test a piece after about 5 minutes to make sure it is crunchy to liking and continue cooking until it is soft enough. We like to eat ours with a bit of a crunch.
