Vanilla Oatmilk Iced Latte

A delicious vegan iced oatmilk latte sweetened with vanilla syrup and brewed with black tea for a bit of caffeine without the punch.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 bag black tea or use 1-2 tsp loose leaf tea depending on how strong you want
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp vanilla syrup A homemade recipe can be found here

Instructions
 

Brew Tea

  • Boil water in microwave or in an electric kettle.
  • Add tea and steep for about 5 minutes, more or less depeding on how strong.
  • Strain the tea.

Assemble Drink

  • In a mug add the vanilla syrup. Combine with oatmilk.
  • Pour the strained tea over the milk. Fill the glass to the top with ice.
  • Serve cold!

Notes

This drink can be made hot, but you need to make sure the type of oatmilk you use can be heated.
